Apart from software development, the city is carving a name for itself in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector. Well known organizations such as Accenture Services and Quexst Solutions operate out of this city. With 1,000+ software companies, the city also offers excellent job opportunities and therefore attracting migrants from metros like Mumbai. The city boasts of IT parks like Rajiv Gandhi IT Park at Hinjewadi, Magarpatta Cybercity, MIDC Software Technology Park at Talawade, Marisoft IT Park at Kalyani Nagar as seats of technology. Moreover, Pune provides the right ecosystem for nascent industries such as animation and gaming.
